Unconventional Doll Art
Anchor 1
The Unconventional Doll Art was inspired by my grandmother, Tempie Royce. She was the second oldest among many siblings during the depression era. She faced adversity with grace and elegance, There was nothing she could not do or teach herself to do. She began collecting, repairing, dressing, and making dolls to create an incredible collection. Many of her dolls were wholly restored by her. Very few dolls were in their original box or clothing. I inherited a portion of her collection when she passed. I have spent time debating the best way to honor her collection and work.

The Unconventional Doll Art includes resin, acrylic, prints, treasured items embedded, doll collection items, pressed flowers, jewelry and collage.
